Damn, that is a clean Evo. I almost bought one new when I bought my RX-8, and I love these things.
This is the one car out there that I wish I had bought new and held on to. Oh, Mitsubishi, how did you lose your way so badly?

A guy up the street from me has one; its white, slightly lowered, on black rpf1’s with slightly rolled fenders. It’s beautiful and the fact the guy who owns it is my dads age makes it even better

I always liked the look of the EvoX. A lot less boy racer looking than the 8 and 9. Though they're becoming harder and harder to find unmodified and not beat to shit

Having owned a 2011 Ralli art since new, I can both understand the love and also understand the hate for these cars. They’re a lot of fun to drive and when unmodified, work really well. But keeping it unmodified is so hard since you can feel every tweak you want to make. Then when you start to dig into it, you realize how badly they cut corners to meet a price point and how crazy the maintainence is. The dual clutch cars require a transmission fluid swap pretty often and it’s $ 20 0/gallon (requires 2 gallons). Plus you need to do the same with the transfer case and diffs. If you drive enough (or hard enough), you can be looking at a $1500 service ever year or so.

Uncle Rico, is that you? Oh there’s an evo in the first picture? Oh yeah I see it now.
